About Me
My work employs a history of economic analysis/thought approach to provide critical assessments of the theories that support the trade and investment aspects of globalization, as well as the changing multilateral agreements that reflect the extension of that globalization over time. In the process I seek to revive certain elements in the works of the first generation of development economists (e.g., R. Prebisch, H. W. Singer, G. Myrdal, A. O. Hirschman, etc.) and I explore the possibilities of building stronger support for industrial and technology policies.
