About Me

Danish Khan is an Assistant Professor of Economics and Mellon High Impact Emerging Scholar. Dr.  Khan did his PhD in Economics from University of Massachusetts-Amherst and Bachelors in Economics and International Studies from University of Utah. His research interests lie in Political Economy, Economic Development, Labor Studies & South Asia .

Dr. Khan’s research work has received Stephen A Resnick Award from the Association of Social and Economic Analysis and John Kenneth Galbraith and Solomon Barkin dissertation awards from University of Massachusetts-Amherst. Previously, he has taught at Bucknell University and worked with Asian Development Bank as a research consultant.
