About Me

Rubén Lo Vuolo is Academic Director and Senior Researcher at the Interdisciplinary Centre for the Study of Public Policies (Buenos Aires, Argentina). He holds a first degree at the Universidad Nacional de Litoral (Argentina) and an M.A. in Economics and Latin American Studies at the University of Pittsburgh (USA). His research focus on social policies, labour market, distribution and economic policy.  He has been Visiting Scholar at the Helen Kellogg Institute for International Studies, University of Notre Dame, EEUU (1993); the Institut des Hautes Études de L’Amérique Latine, Université de la Sorbonne Nouvelle-PARIS III, Francia (1996); and the Unversidad de Barcelona, España (2013). He has worked as a consultant for different International organizations and is the President of the Red Argentina de Ingreso Ciudadano (Redaic). His last books: “Políticas Públicas y Democracia en Argentina. Crónicas de un País que no Aprende” (2017); “Citizen’s Income and Welfare Regimes in Latin America. From Cash Transfers to Rights” (2013); “Distribución y crecimiento. Una controversia persistente” (2009).
